Please note: Older 8U players with experience are usually moved up to 10U to get another year of experience with live pitching. Please reach out if you have questions or concerns.
8U
Eligibility
Must be 8 or younger by September 1st.

Team Formation
Very basic assessments, intended to be fun and not stressful. The Board puts together teams.
Games
Machine pitch, 11-inch ball. Limited to 5 runs per inning.
Schedule
Summer Season May-July
Fall Season Mid-August-End September
Games/practices typically fall on Mondays and Wednesdays. Some weekend tournaments. Fall Ball games are usually on Saturdays.
Focus
8U softball has a focus on development of basic skills. Throughout the season, each player can expect to play a variety of positions to experience infield, outfield and catching.

12U
Eligibility
Must be 12 years or younger by September 1st.

Player-pitched, 12-inch ball. Full fastpitch rules.
Schedule
Summer Season April-July
Fall Season Mid-August-End September
Games are typically Monday and Wednesday nights beginning in May, plus several tournaments. Fall ball games are usually on Sundays.
Focus
As skills grow, a greater emphasis is placed on using strategic play and advanced skills to compete.
10U
Eligibility
Must be 10 or younger by September 1st.

Player-pitched, 11-inch ball. Full fastpitch rules. Limited to 5 runs per inning.
Schedule
Summer Season April-July
Fall Ball Season Mid August-End September
Games/practices typically fall on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with more at coach discretion. Some weekend tournaments. Fall Ball games are usually on Saturdays.
Focus
Fundamentals and player improvement are still stressed at 10U.
Teams of similarly-skilled players help ensure all players are developing.
Some emphasis is placed on winning, though skill development is primary.
14U & 16U/High School
Eligibility
Must be 14 or 16 years or younger by
September 1st.

Games
Player-pitched, 12-inch ball. Full fastpitch rules.
Schedule
Will vary based on time of year. Summer will have several weekend tournaments. Winter will have dome training, and Spring will have dome ball.
Focus
Players at this level are either preparing for or participating at the High School level. Players become more specialized, and competition is a higher focus.
