Registration: - REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED FOR the 2019 Fall SEASON!!
All teams - 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U and 16U have been picked for the 2019 Season and are located under the "Our Teams" tab.
Season: August Thru Sept (14U and 16u season is a full year committment and runs thru Summer 2020)
Eligibility: open to residents that will feed into Rosemount High School (RHS)
- Age is determined by birthday on or before January 1 in the year of the summer season. Proof of age is required to participate in tournaments.
AGE BRACKETS ARE CLASSIFIED AS
12U - Girls Born in 2007 and 2008
10U - Girls Born in 2009, 2010 & 2011
~ Girls must be 8 yrs old by Dec 31, 2019 to play 10U
8U - Girls Born in 2012 & 2013
~ Girls must be 6 years old by Dec 31, 2019 to play 8U
Equipment: Bases, balls and catcher's equipment (supplies limited) provided. Players must purchase their own batting helmet (which MUST be a Rip-It Vision Pro: Gloss-Home-Navy), glove, cleats (non-metal), bat, and sliding pad/sliding shorts. Defensive face masks are highly recommended but not mandatory.
Try-outs: There are no tryouts for 8U, 10U and 12U Fall Ball. Every effort is made to place girls with the same group of girls they played with in the summer.... depending on pitchers and catchers.
Coaches/Assistant Coaches/Team Managers: Traveling Softball is always looking for parents to help out in the program. If you are interested in helping out, please click on the "Chip In!-Volunteer Now" link towards the top of this registration. Coaches and Assistant coaches that apply will be reviewed and voted on by the Traveling Board. All coaches and assistant coaches will need to clear background checks and take concussion training. More information will be sent after registration closes.
Volunteer Requirements: Parents in all age groups (8U thru 16U) are required to work a set amount of hours at one of the Rosemount hosted tournaments fall ball weekends. The requirement for the upcoming Fall Season has not yet been determined. To ensure the hours are worked, all parents are required to provide a 'volunteer' check in the amount of $250 per child. A volunteer check is required for your daughter to participate in traveling softball activities but will NOT be cashed if the required volunteer hours are completed.
