Winter Dome Training
The RAAA Traveling Softball program invites your daughter to come and participate in training sessions to be held at the Rosemount Irish Sports Dome during the months of October through March. We will be offering the training sessions on Friday nights. These sessions will also include try-out for the specific age groups: 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U and 18U (if necessary).
During these training sessions, the girls will participate in drills and exercises designed to work on hitting, bunting, throwing, and catching. The girls will be participating in conditioning exercises to help with their agility and speed. Pitchers and catchers will also have opportunities to practice during the sessions. The RAAA Traveling Softball coaches will determine how the girls will be divided up by age and skill level. It is not a requirement to have played traveling softball to participate in these training sessions. The minimum age to participate is 8 years as of the end of the current year.
